Appalachia We are collecting again for the children of Appalachia. Please bring your new or gently used children’s clothing, belts, and shoes in plastic bags under 10-15 lbs for easy transport. Mission trip opportunity Applications being accepted for mission trips to the Child Rescue Centre and Mercy Hospital in Bo Sierra Leone for March 2011 and May 2011. The March team is looking for individuals with construction, computer, or medical skills. Music, Art, & Drama Camp August 9 -12, 9:00 AM-12:30 PM; August 12, 7:00 - 8:30 PM for all children entering 3rd through 6th grades. Each day, the children will use music, art, and drama to discover that God is the greatest treasure of all. There will be an open house on the last evening for the children to share what they’ve done through the week. Registration begins July 1 at ebenezerumc.org/registration. Children’s fall Sunday School registration for children age 3 and toilet trained through Grade 5. Classes online at ebenezerumc.org/ministries/children/sundayschool beginning August 7 or you may pick up a registration form at the church welcome desks. Classes begin September 12.

Cherub Choir for children age 3 years through first grade starts rehearsals on Thursday, September 16th from 6:15-7:00 pm in the Gathering Room.

Celebration Singers for children in 2nd through 5th grade starts rehearsals Thursday, September 16th from 7:00-8:00 pm in the Gathering Room.

JOY Choir and Drama Group for middle and high school students starts rehearsals on Sunday, September 19th at 12:45 pm in the Sanctuary.Lunch will be served in the Gathering Room at 12:15 pm for choir members (a donation of $2 is requested).

Ephesians 5:19, the Handbell Choir under the direction of Marvona Poff is in need of more ringers. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary. Child care is available. Ushers Needed Looking for a way to serve your church and have an opportunity to meet your fellow worshipers at the same time? Then please prayerfully consider becoming an usher at one of Ebenezer’s five services and/or volunteering to help at the holiday services. Ushering isn’t hard.
