STEP (Ebenezer's 4th & 5th Grade Preteen Program)
STEP stands for Super Terrific Ebenezer Preteens and is for 4th and 5th graders. It's a pre-youth group experience where they can participate in church activities and learn about Christ; yet have fun with their friends while growing spiritually.
We hold monthly meetings from September to May on the fourth Saturday of each month from 7-8:30 PM. Our meetings focus on fellowship, spiritual, social, and mission events. Some of the things we have done in the past are: holding a scavenger hunt, karaoke, DDR, Christmas caroling & gift exchange, backwards dinner night, lock-ins, and even started our own praise band, SS Celebration!
We have participated in mission events including making greeting cards for Hope House and the Parker Adult Care Home, visiting an adult care home, boxing food for families at Thanksgiving, and more.
Our monthly lessons go with our theme for the month and are Biblically based.
Parents can participate as small group leaders, game leaders, meeting leaders, admin leaders, kitchen crew, and more.

Children's Ministries General Information
Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, "Let the little children come to me. Don't stop them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people who are like these children." Here at Ebenezer, we keep that verse close to our hearts when we minister to children.
Our mission in Children's Ministries is to provide a strong spiritual foundation that helps each young person come to know Christ as their personal savior and to grow in their faith. This will enable them to have a life-long walk with Christ and a healthy relationship with the Church.
We welcome everyone to Ebenezer United Methodist Church and hope you will try our children's ministries program.
Check out our new ParentLink newsletter. Each month this newsletter provides tips on raising children, reviews new releases in the media, and even a calendar with important Children's Ministry dates. Check out this free resource today!
