Brisben Center Meals

Ebenezer Church   -

Although residents cannot gather for large community meals like we normally serve, The Brisben Center is still committed to providing healthy meals each day. So, what does serving meals look like in the time of COVID-19? Different, that is for sure! Volunteers are asked to cook at home and deliver meals to about a dozen Brisben clients who are staying at a local motel.

Use the sign-up button below to volunteer.

Twice a month Ebenezer volunteers cook and serve a home-style dinner to the residents of the Thurman Brisben Shelter. The shelter houses individuals and families for extended periods of time while they work to attain self-sufficiency. Our volunteers, in two shifts, cook and serve the meal for approximately 80 people.
