Sin and Righteousness
Jesus was radical. He was. He called us to do things we don’t want to do in order to be who God calls us to be. In this week’s examination of the sermon on the mount we see Jesus calling us into radical relationship with one another. His call on our lives is to seek reconciliation, refusing to objectify another; the call is to repair our relationships, not end them. We cannot control everything in our worlds, but we choose to follow the command of Jesus to radical relationship.
