The Helmet of Truth and Breastplate of Righteousness
As we continue our Armor of God series, we examine the first two elements of armor, the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness. We will understand how the belt and breastplate were employed by soldiers in the first century and why Paul links these pieces with the spiritual virtues of truth and righteousness. Finally, we’ll see ways to practically apply this armor to our lives in ways that prepare us for faithfulness and bring glory to God.
