The Holy Spirit – God in Us
If someone asked you to tell the story about how you’ve experienced God in your life, what would you say? Me? I would tell the story of the God in the bleachers. I’d tell of a God who loves us when we can’t make sense of anything, a God who knew the cost of creation was the cross of Calvary and created anyway, a God who weeps with us when we can’t see the hope, joy and life right around the corner the way God can. It is the tale of a weirdly understood often forgotten presence that will go wherever we go. It is the story of a God who dances and teaches us to dance. Very simply, this is the story of a parent who refuses to give up on the children, the beautiful, beloved children.
