Imagination Library

Ebenezer Church is excited to partner with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to provide free books to children ages 0-5 in the 22405 zip code in southern Stafford County!
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, regardless of family income. It began in 1995 in Dolly’s hometown of Sevier County, Tennessee and quickly expanded across the United States and internationally. To date, the Imagination Library has mailed over 160 million books to more than 1.8 million children.
The first book each child receives is the classic The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper and the final book they receive is Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come by Nancy Carlson. In between, they receive a specially selected book each month that will inspire them to love reading. The Imagination Library partners with local affiliates to cover the costs of purchasing and shipping the books. The Ebenezer Church Imagination Library is honored to serve as the local affiliate for the 22405 zip code in Stafford County and to bless our neighbors with the magic of books.
