How to Audition
- Download the Audition Resources and access the folder for your instrument.
- The Audition Resources folder contains (for each instrument and song): the original artist recording, a multitrack recording (no vocals and your part removed), and a chord chart/lyric sheet.
- Select the song you’ll use for your audition from the Audition Resources folder.
- Feel free to select any (1) song from those provided for your instrument/vocal type to audition with.
- Record a video of you playing your instrument/singing with the corresponding multitrack song; ensure you can be heard in your video!
- One take recordings with minimal audio processing is preferred. Please do not edit, splice, or add audio effects to your video.
- Title your recorded video as follows: “Your Name – Ebenezer Worship Audition”
- Complete the “Submit Your Audition” form below and upload your audition video.
- Note: If you prefer to drop off a physical copy, you can copy the file to a CD or flash drive and drop it off at the church office. Indicate you have dropped off the file in the form below.

What is the audition process?
Our auditions consist of an initial video entry and, for those selected, a live audition. Individuals who pass the first round of auditions (video) will be invited to participate in a live, in-person audition. All others will be provided with feedback on their audition and invited to audition again in the future.
When do we audition?
If selected for a callback based on your video audition, you will be requested to participate in a live, in-person audition. Auditions are held year-round.
How old do I have to be to audition?
Auditions are limited to those 14 and older. Students age 14-18 will require parental permission to join the band if selected.
How do I audition for multiple instruments?
If you want to audition for multiple instruments, we ask that you submit videos for each. This includes vocalists who also play instruments.
