Daniel and the Lion’s Den
The story of Daniel reminds us that when we have faith like that of a child, we can cast aside our fears, we can trust and know that God’s love, grace, and presence will always be with us. In our daily lives, we often encounter our own figurative lion’s dens—situations that seem insurmountable, where fear and doubt threaten to consume us. Even as we face our own lion’s dens, what would it look like if we shifted our focus? What if, first, we paused, prayed, recognized that God is with us in every situation and that God is bigger than whatever problems, situations, and nightmares we might face.
