Are you feeling the chill in the air and wondering about care for our unhoused neighbors this winter?

Micah’s Cold Weather Shelter program runs mid-November through mid-March. Micah makes a daily open or closed decision for the overnight shelter, based on temperature and weather conditions each day. Last winter was the first season that Micah hosted two separate shelter sites: One for men and one for women. Upon opening the women’s site, we found that this met a real need in our community, and are proud to offer the same thing again this season.

Locations:

Men’s Shelter, 750 Kings Highway, please enter through the ramp on the back of the building. There is plenty of parking in the CSB lot.

Women’s Shelter, Fredericksburg Baptist Church, please enter through the Red Door on the Amelia Street side. Parking is either on street, or in the Fredericksburg Baptist Church lot.
