Step by Step: Discover

As Christians, we navigate life with Christ walking beside us. Whether you are new to faith, new to Ebenezer, or you’ve been a following Jesus since 1856 (when Ebenezer Church was founded) there is always room to grow as a disciple! Each step of the journey brings us closer to understanding what it means to be a disciple of Christ and what it takes to remain in relationship with Jesus and serve as our Savior and Lord modeled for us.
On September 22nd at 11:30 AM, we will gather for Discover, the second step of our Discipleship Journey. This step is called discover because discipleship continues with examining how you can use your gifts for God’s glory. In Step by Step: Discover, we’ll walk through your Spiritual Gifts Assessment results. We’ll discover small groups, mission opportunities, serving opportunities, and see how your financial giving supports Ebenezer. We will end our time together with an invitation to become a member of Ebenezer.
A Disciple’s Journey is open to all people. While the first and second steps of Becoming a Disciple are part of Ebenezer’s new member orientation, all are invited to attend and learn how we can all grow closer as disciples of Jesus Christ.
