Year of Prayer

December 27 - 31 2023

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Jesus tells us to love our neighbors. Ebenezer is a church that does that in very real ways through mission and ministry in our local community. We also seek to love our neighbors through prayer. In 2023, we will be intentionally praying for our neighbors and our community:

  • For needs, health, strength, and fears.
  • For healing and wholeness
  • For those with whom we agree
  • For those with whom we disagree
  • For our healthcare workers, schools, businesses, mission & ministry partners, houses of worship, leaders, and many who are struggling
  • For God’s love to be made real in this place we are blessed to call home

Each month we will have a different prayer topic, with a new prayer focus each week. We invite you to join us in prayer in 2023:

  • Visit our Year of Prayer web page, where you can subscribe to our Prayer Calendar and access Prayer Tools.
  • Text YEAROFPRAYER to 84576 to receive a prayer reminder by text each Monday.
  • Pick up a Year of Prayer bookmark, which includes our monthly prayer topics, at the Connection Desk.
