Overview
Beginning with Ash Wednesday on March 5, we journey throughout the season of Lent, toward the Cross of Christ. The 40 days of Lent are focused on prayer, repentance, self-reflection, and preparation for the coming of Easter and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
During Lent, we’re inviting individuals and small groups at Ebenezer Church to embark on a study of the final week of Jesus’ life. This six-week study correlates with our Lenten sermon series and explores Jesus’ last days from the perspective of His disciple Mark.
Topics include:
- The Fig Tree (Mark 11:12-14 & 20-25)
- The Wicked Tenants (Mark 12:1-12)
- The Three Questions (Mark 12:13-34)
- The Widow (Mark 12:41-44)
- The Dinner (Mark 14:12-25)
- The Garden (Mark 14:32-51)
Join us and experience the profound love, grace, mercy and forgiveness at the heart of Holy Week, as we Journey to the Cross. Our journey through this season will begin during the week of March 9. Each weekly session includes a companion video, scripture, and discussion questions.
