A New Grace
What’s the big takeaway in the story? John 3:16-17 is ringing in our ears … that Jesus came out of God’s love for the world and did not come to condemn it but to save it. Any time we feel tempted to pick up a rock to condemn or throw an insult with words against a person, a family, a church, a community … let’s do what Jesus told us to do. Not judge. Drop the rock. Leave it far behind.
