Abraham and Isaac
For years, Abraham and Sarah had waited, often impatiently, for the long awaited fulfillment to the promises of God. And now, God calls Abraham to take his son, Isaac, the son whom he loves and sacrifice him on the mountain top. Abraham, even as imperfect as he might have been had continued to follow God—through it all. Abraham’s faith is a good example for our faith. Knowing that no matter what “God will Provide”. Our faith in God is one that we can rely on, cling to, and be a lifeline through all the messiest, darkest, imperfect moments of life.
