Covenant
Last week we saw God develop all creation and humanity in particular in a way that reflects God’s identity and desire for us to experience perfect relationship. Then, sin entered the equation, tearing apart those relationships. The first few chapters of Genesis cause us to believe this story will be a tragedy, but God isn’t through yet. In this installment of the Big Picture, we will see how God begins the process of restoration, preparing humanity for the great act of redemption in Christ through a series of covenants that convey the most basic and important truths about who we are.
