Do Good
John Wesley’s second of his 3 Simple Rules is to “Do Good.” But how do we “Do Good”? It’s not just the absence of “Do No Harm”. Do Good is active and transformative it supports us in living out our call from God— to Do and Be, not just to Say and Know. For the past nearly 300 years, the United Methodist Church has strived to live out this second Simple rule, and here at Ebenezer Church it is no different. Jesus calls us to go beyond the easy, normal, usual, everyday and dare to invoke and live out the values and priorities of the Kingdom of God.
