Prodigal Son
We all come to the story of the Prodigal Son with different lenses. Depending on our lens we may hear and focus on the unfairness of the Father’s love, or the wastefulness of the party the father threw for the Son who returned home, or even the reconciliation in the relationship between the Father and the Son. In the fullness of this parable we are presented with the relationship between God and Humanity—the way God treats us, searches for us, longs for us, waits for us wherever we may be in our lives—we are the Prodigals!
