Did you ever read the Da Vinci Code? It was a very interesting read a few years back, and this work of fiction introduced the notion that when the New Testament was being formed a conspiracy existed designed to silence certain voices and elevate others. It was a fun read. It was also purely fictional. The New Testament was formed through a process that was both spiritually mature and largely unbiased. In this week’s installment of Bible 101 we look at the formation of the New Testament as we strive to better understand the most important book in history.
