The Parade of Humility
Triumphal entry? That’s what they call Jesus coming into Jerusalem. But is triumphal the right word? He rode a donkey, a borrowed donkey at that. He walked on palm fronds, not rose petals. This wasn’t a triumphal entry. It was a parade of humility, and that’s exactly how Jesus wanted it.
