Lenten Study
April 1 - March 30
Beginning with Ash Wednesday on February 14, we journey throughout the season of Lent, toward the Cross of Christ. The 40 days of Lent are focused on prayer, repentance, self-reflection, and preparation for the coming of Easter and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
During Lent, we’re inviting individuals and small groups to embark on a study of the final week of Jesus’ life. This study correlates with our Lenten sermon series and explores each day of Holy Week.
Topics include:
- Entrance & Cleansing of the Temple (Matthew 21)
- Parable of Wedding Banquet & Greatest Commandments (Matthew 22)
- Denouncing the Pharisees & Scribes (Matthew 23)
- Parable of Bridesmaids & Judgement of the Nations (Matthew 25)
- Jesus Being Anointed & Jesus’ Prayers (Matthew 26)
- Peter’s Promise & Denial; Rejection of Jesus (Matthew 26-27)
Join us and experience the profound love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness at the heart of Holy Week as we Journey to the Cross. Our journey through this season will begin during the week of February 18. You may join the journey through RightNow Media or the Lenten page on our website. Each weekly session includes a companioning video, discussion questions, and scripture.
If you’re not already in a small group and would like to join one for this six-week Lenten study, please contact our Director of Adult Ministries Dana Czzowitz using the form below.
